Rockefeller Group has completed a new 172,622-square-foot, Class-A distribution building at 55 Paradise Lane in Bay Shore, Long Island. Recognizing the importance of Long Island as a key industrial market, this project provides much-needed quality distribution space to support the region's evolving logistics landscape and increasing demand for last-mile facilities. Together with adjacent buildings on the site, Rockefeller Group Logistics Park in Bay Shore is one of the premier industrial developments on Long Island's South Shore.

Brandi Hanback

Brandi Hanback is Executive Vice President of Industrial Development and Head of FTZ, Trade & Logistics for the Rockefeller Group. Ms. Hanback leads the industrial development activities of the Rockefeller Group’s regional offices covering the Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, West Coast, Southwest and Northwest. She is based in the Mid-Atlantic and is a member of the company’s corporate and strategic executive management team headquartered in New York and also serves on the company’s Investment and Portfolio Committees. Ms. Hanback is responsible for Rockefeller Group’s port strategy and has experience working directly with tenants and clients on supply chain requirements. She also oversees the company’s longstanding FTZ division, which works directly with tenants and clients on a consulting basis as needed on complex international trade, logistics and customs matters. Rockefeller Group’s tenants and clients include large multinational manufacturers and distributors engaged in importing and exporting. Prior to joining Rockefeller Group in 2003, Ms. Hanback was a Senior Manager and Area Leader at KPMG LLP in Washington, DC. Ms. Hanback also served for 10 years as Executive Director of the National Association of Foreign-Trade Zones. In this capacity, she represented the interests of FTZ grantees, operators, and users through interaction with officials in the U.S. Department of Commerce, U.S. Treasury Department, U.S. Customs & Border Protection, Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, and key congressional committees involved in international trade. Ms. Hanback holds a Juris Doctorate and is admitted to the bars of Maryland, District of Columbia and the U.S. Supreme Court. She holds a master’s degree in international transactions, is a licensed Customs Broker and an Accredited Zones Specialist. Ms. Hanback is a former Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Foreign-Trade Zones.

Gwen O'Shea

Gwen O’Shea is the President & CEO of the Community Development Corporation of Long Island. She oversees the 51-year-old regional non-profit with three non-profit affiliates and numerous for-profit subsidiaries, over $31 million in assets, an annual budget of $35 million and a staff of 87. CDCLI strives to strengthen homes, communities and individuals. CDCLI serves over 20,000 individuals annually through a variety of business lines: Rental Assistance, Resident Services, The Home Ownership Center, Home Improvement and Optimization and Real Estate Development. CDCLI’s Community Development Finance Institution (CDFI) provides critical capital to under financed communities; supporting multi-family developments, homeowners and individuals. Currently, over $10 million is deployed in loan funds. CDCLI is a co-venture partner in fifteen multifamily tax credit complexes representing over 2000 apartments, with an additional 278 in pre-development. CDCLI has developed 235 single family affordable for sale subdivisions and currently managed 47 single-family scattered site rental properties. As a chartered member of NeighborWorks®(a congressionally chartered nonprofit organization that supports community development), CDCLI is recognized as an “exemplary organization,” meeting a high standard of fiscal integrity and service performance to assist local residents in achieving their dreams. Prior to joining CDCLI in March 2017, Gwen served as the President & CEO of HWCLI for 10 years. She was the first female executive of the umbrella organization that advocates for the rights of those most vulnerable and at-risk. From 2006-2012, Gwen was an Adjunct Professor at LIU for the Graduate Programs of Social Work & Health Care & Public Administration. Gwen serves as a member of the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York’s Housing Advisory Council, is an Executive Member of the New York State Neighborworks Alliance and is a Board Member of the Long Island Federally Qualified Health Centers.
